What exactly is Localizit?
A complete asset-protection platform. You fit trackers to the things you want to protect — tools, plant, vehicles, trailers, stock — and Localizit shows them all on one live map, geofences your sites, and alerts you the moment something moves or goes missing. It's built for business, with team workspaces, an AI watcher and a secure API.
How do the tags know where they are?
A BLE tag doesn't locate itself — it's a paper-thin Bluetooth beacon with no SIM and no GPS. When any passing iPhone or Android comes within range it reads the tag and relays its position to you, encrypted and without the passer-by doing anything. For assets that can't wait for a passing phone, a 4G GPS tracker reports its own position; and where there's no phone or signal at all, our satellite layer hears the tag from space.
Do I need a SIM or a monthly data plan?
Not for BLE tags — there's no SIM, no roaming and nothing to top up, so there are no per-device data bills. You pay a small monthly fee for the platform, and optionally for 4G or satellite on the higher-value items that need guaranteed real-time coverage.
